I am an avid tennis players who is always up for friendly competition. Over the years, I have met some interesting people on the courts who have become my closest friends. As far my game is concerned, I am a 4.0 player who prefers to play from the baseline. I have been told that I have a decent forehand and a one-handed backhand that could use some work. As far as equipment goes, my racquet of choice is the Wilson Pro Staff RF97 Autograph strung in the low 60s. I am always up for a game in the evenings and can provide scintillating conversation on request.
I started playing tennis at age 9 in Bombay, India. Growing up, I idolized Andre Agassi
and was over the moon when he won Wimbledon in 1992.
The game took on a whole new meaning for me when Federer came along. Apart from a Rolodex of records he's set, it's the grace with which he has done it that makes it easy to anoint him the best. Besides, in an era where tennis players only come off the baseline, he is one of the few who has true full-court coverage.
I got my Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2006. I currently live in Mountain View, California and enjoy watching Seinfeld reruns.
